EXCELLENT FOOD

Posted by Tigers70 on 11/30/2009

For our Thanksgiving the Barbecue House prepared our Turkey, Ham and Potato Salad. They did an exceptional job. The turkey, ham and potato salad was the biggest hit among all of the food at our gathering. I recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. My family has dined at this place many times. The breakfast is a Southern Traditional breakfast.....best in town. Lunch and dinner has many menu items to pick from. If you are eating healthy, don't worry.... the turkey sandwiches and salads are great! Of course the barbeque pork is a must have! Melinda Sanders Opelika, Al Auburn University

The Barbecue House-An Auburn Tradition

I LOVE The Barbeque House! I love a good barbecue sandwich, and this is the place that ranks #1 on my list. It just does not get any better. We drive over 3.5 hrs to get to each Auburn home game, and when we get there, it's straight to The Barbeque House! This has been part of our Auburn Football Tradition for over 20 yrs! We love the food, and we love the owners and staff- just good family people. Keep cooking everything just like you do! Do not change a thing! See you at the next game!

Awesome breakfast!!!

The Barbecue House is a favorite spot for Auburn students and faculty to have breakfast. They make their biscuits homemade from scratch, unlike Byron's, another local BBQ restaurant that uses frozen/refrigerated biscuits. You can really tell the difference!! In addition to their homemade biscuits, they have homemade french toast and the best pancakes I have ever had. Their hashbrowns and grits put Waffle House to shame. They also have a spicy link sausage that is the best...I have tried to find it in stores and make it at home, but there is just no matching it. The environment there is friendly and casual, with many of the "regulars" dining together each day. An old-fashioned, family-owned business that reminds you of the way things used to be!!! Definitely a can't miss experience when visiting Auburn.

Best Barbecue in Town!!!

Price's Barbecue House is one of my favorite places in town to eat. I have never tried anything there that I didn't like. They have the best potato salad I have ever had ---- it is homemade along with the rest of their side items. They have homemade desserts that are really good, too. This is a hot spot for both Auburn students and locals alike, so it is often very crowded, especially during the day, but its worth the wait! Their breakfast is the best!! Definitely worth a visit! You will not be disappointed!!!!

Best Barbecue in Town!!!

Price's Barbecue House is one of my favorite places to eat. It is located on South College Street near Auburn University campus. They have the best potato salad I've ever had. All of their side items are homemade. They also serve breakfast and have the best pancakes and biscuits. The service is very friendly. This is a local hot-spot for both students and locals alike, so they stay pretty busy, especially during the day, but it is definitely worth it! They have been owned by the same people for many years. I've never had a bad experience there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
